Hisense's service network is rated limited in our assessment. That means coverage in India is genuinely limited. Before buying, confirm that a technician serves your area and that replacement filters can be delivered to your pin code — an appliance you cannot service or re-filter is a poor purchase at any price.

Before ordering a Hisense AC, get two things in writing from the brand or dealer: what the free installation actually includes (copper pipe length, outdoor stand, wall core-cut), and how many days an installation and a first service visit take in your pin code. In May and June every brand's installers are booked out, and an AC delivered in a box is worth nothing until it is on the wall.

  • Raise service requests through Hisense's official website only — https://www.hisense-india.com/support. Third parties advertising "authorised Hisenseservice" frequently have no brand relationship, charge more and fit non-genuine parts.
  • Always insist on a ticket or complaint reference number, and note the promised response window.
  • Ask the installer to vacuum the copper lines before releasing refrigerant, and to note the running current and outlet air temperature on the job sheet. Skipped vacuuming is the commonest cause of poor cooling and early compressor failure, and the job sheet is your evidence for a warranty claim.

What does Hisense AC installation and service cost?
Standard installation is usually free or bundled with a new Hisense split AC, and covers mounting both units with about 3 metres of copper piping. What is charged separately is where bills grow: extra copper pipe (typically ₹600-₹1,000 a metre), an outdoor stand, a core-cut through the wall and a dedicated 16 A socket for 2 ton units. Ask for those rates in writing before the technician arrives. After the first year, a wet service with coil cleaning costs roughly ₹500-₹1,000 a visit, and a gas top-up after a genuine leak costs far more — which is why the compressor, PCB and condenser warranty years matter more than the headline price.
